　　艾莉森（帕特丽夏·阿奎特 Patricia Arquette 配音）自幼便拥有高于常人的灵视能力，总能够看见徘徊在人间的幽魂鬼影，聪明的艾莉森将这种能力融合进了工作中，成为了一名灵媒。艾莉森额丈夫乔伊（杰克·韦伯 Jake Weber 饰）是一名科学工程师，虽然科学和灵异相斥，但他依然相信着妻子的每一个决定，并且成为了她最坚强的后盾。
